Hasko Mystic Boards
Egyptian themes
The Museum of Talking Boards calls this the most saught after talking board
of all time.  (Although I disagree...I think the original 1891 Charles Kennard
board is more desirable)  It does have some great artwork on it though.  It
has an Egyptian theme with four characters in the corners with strange
names.  I'm not sure if these are real names or something Haskelite made up.
The board measures almost two feet across so this is a very large board.  It's
made of wood with lithographed paper for the graphics.  Unfortunately,
mine has some water damage which is most visible in the lower right corner.
This board is probably from the 1940s.
This board is about the same size as the one above.  It also shares the
Egyptian theme.  This board has the Sphinx and pyramids in the
background behind the letters.  Hasko seems to have sold most of their
boards during the 1940s so that's probably when this board is from too.  The
signs of the zodiac are displayed around the board.
This is the only Haskelite board I own that is actually wooden with painted
graphics.  My others are all wood with lithographed paper.  That is why the
detail on this board isn't as dramatic.  I really like Hasko boards because
they made their boards so bright and colorful unlike most other
manufacturers.
