| The Ouija is indeed mysterious. To give a list of set directions would be simply impossible. Mostly because...this is not Monopoly. This isn't just rolling the dice and moving your cheap token around the game board. Channeling through a Ouija board works differently for everyone. All I can do is give you advice. I've used dozens of boards from all throughout history. I've had great success with most of them. | |||||||||
| The type of Ouija board you use really doesn't matter as much as you might think, but I strongly suggest you use a handmade board. Not just because I want you to buy one of mine...you can make you yourself pretty easily. There's just something that seems silly about talking to a cardboard and plastic board from Toys R Us. The first thing I do...is relax. To do this is usually no easy task for me. Try your hardest to forget everything stressful that might be bothering you. If your mind isn't on the board, your results will probably not be very impressive. It also usually helps me if I turn off all my electrical appliances (such as televisions, computers, etc...). I also like to turn out all the lights, and use candles. This all helps to create atmosphere. In my opinion, better atmosphere leads to better sessions...but this is all just a preference. Sometimes, I like to listen to some kind of calm music while using a board (even though this breaks my rule of "no electrical appliances"). Then, just sit down and place your hands on the planchette. Take a deep breath and ask a question. You can ask, "Is there anyone there?" or "Is there a spirit present?" or anything else along those lines. It is entirely up to you. Then...just wait for the planchette to begin moving. It will move slowly at first...then it should start speeding up considerably during your session. Channeling is a easy to learn, but difficult to master. With a little practice, the Ouija will exceed all of your expectations. Thanks, and best of luck! Dan Whitaker Witchboard World |
